I am still in total shock that Michael Jackson died yesterday 4/25/09. He was only 50 years old. Man oh man another great one is gone. I have cried my eyes out. However, we must all remember that this is a celebration of his life. He lived a life just like all of us full of both joys and pains. Let us not forget that he was not just a superstar, but a man, son, brother, and father. He was human just like the rest of us. God gave him his talents, and God was ready for him to come home. Regardless of his erratic behavior at times, or his other woes nobody will ever be able to take his accomplishments away from him. He broke barriers, set standards, and I know everybody who came up during his time has been affected by his time here on this earth. I for sure have very fond memories of Michael Jackson. I had Moonwalker on VHS and I would watch it over and over again everyday. I actually thought that Thriller was an actual movie. I can remember singing "The way you make me feel" with my daddy (R.I.P). That was our song. I know just about all of us can do the dance moves to just about every video. I know I am tired because I been cutting a rug to "Thriller, Beat it, Smooth Criminal ETC. Michael was truely one of a kind and simply the greatest. My prayers are with his family. May God give them peace and strength to endure.
