So today we were allowed to dress up for halloween at my job. I didn't have a costume, so I just did something funky with my makeup. I was trying to do leopard type eye, but it didn't work out that way to me. It still came out good for my first attempt. Hope you all enjoy.
Okay Okay last post of the night I swear. So I wanted to do a gold and purple look. This is what I came up with. I purchased the Rimmel Foundation primer and I must say I am very impressed. I usually get shiny during the day, but it didn't happen today. I know it is because of the primer. Woop Woop!!!!!!!!! I also used the Cover Girl Lash Exact Mascara and Perfect Point Eyeliner in Black. I like the Lash Blast Mascara wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy better. The Perfect Point Eyeliner is still the same. I love it. It was the first eyeliner I ever used. Hope you all enjoy.

My friend wanted me to do her makeup, and said I can put the pics on my blog so here they are. I let her pick the colors she wanted. She chose the gold color from Loreal Hips Matallic eyeshadow duo in gunmetal, and Mac's Passionate. Here is the look.
Okay so I am doing a lot of posting tonight, but I have a lot to share. I used Mac's Contrast, and Ricepaper for this look. Contrast is an amazing dark blue. I see why people love it. Did I mention I loooooooooooooooooove the two MAC brushes I got. HE HE HE HE!!!!!!!!!!!! I tried the techniques that the MA at MAC showed me. I think it came out well. I always wondered how they get that wash of color so the highlight blends with the color. Hope you enjoy.

I got a few things from cherryculture, and decided to use the NYX eyeshadow in Kiwi. That is one of the prettiest greens I have ever used. I have been so impressed with NYX. The color pigmentation is absolutely amazing, and they have a range of colors to choose from. I love my Jumbo eyeshadow pencils. A dupe for Kiwi is Kaboom Kelly by Covergirl. Anyhoooo so in my previous post I was refering to how I purchased the Holiday Face and Eye brushes from Mac at Nordstoms. The cost for both sets was 74.00. I was super excited at first but once I looked at the eye set I wasn't really impressed. So, after much contimplating I took them back the following day. The cashier was a tad bit rude when she asked me why I was returning them. I told her I didn't care for them that much. Then she asked me if I used them? Not a bad question, but ummmmmmmmmmmmmm I would never return brushes that I used. That is so unsanitary. The hilarious part is she never even opened the boxes to see if they had been used. STRANGE for all she knew nothing could have been in the boxes at all. I decided that I did want MAC brushes just the full sized ones. So I went to the MAC freestanding store. I finally received great customer service. Jo-Z was the greatest. I had my makeup on and she told me that I really should look into becoming an MA. She told me what to do, and what avenues to take to reach it. She even showed me a few techniques. I purchased the 239 and 217. OKAY PEOPLE WHY DIDN'T ANYONE TELL ME HOW GREAT THOSE TWO BRUSHES ARE? I felt like I had just found the missing link. :) I also purchased eyeshadow refills for my pallete. I got Contrast, Ricepaper, and Patina at Jo-Z's suggestion. Where has Ricepaper been all my life. All of the colors are wonderful. I'm going to be one practicing fool. I love makeup. It makes me happy. Stay tuned for the FOTD. My boyfriend gave me rabbit ears in one of the pics but I still love it. He is so silly. Oh yeah and I dyed my hair. I absolutely love the color.

Hey party people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Woop Woop. Nothing much has been going on with me. Just out her trying to make a buck. I am trying to get in the habit of doing more things with this blog. I just don't have any ideas at the moment. I have so many random thoughts going through my brain I am getting discombobulated. Here is a look I wore to work last week. I wanted to wear silver and black. I went to Nordstrom's on Saturday, and got the face and eye holiday set from MAC, but I hated them so I took them back on Sunday. Taking those brushes back was one of the best makeup decisions ever. More on that next post.

Hey all. Here is my FOTD. I decided to focus on my lips, and have a neutral eye. Dark lips are in this fall, so I went with a darker lip. I love the way it came out. I received a lot of compliments at work. I felt really pretty. My director told me I should wear lipstick more often. You all know I love my lip glosses, but every now in then you gotta go against the norm.

So it is that time of the year again. Mac's holiday collection is hitting the stores, and has the internet going nuts. I am not really into the Red She Said I am waiting for Adoring Carmine, and I do want one of the eyeshadow palette. So with that being said I am going to be one broke heffa. OH MY LAWD this colection is gorgeous. I don't own any MAC brushes and I am curious to see what all the fuss is about. So I am definately going to cope the face and eye set. I know that the brushes are not man made like the regular brushes but ohhh well. These are the items on my wish list. I gotta dish out my wish list to all my peeps so they know what to get me.
