FOTD, and Urban Decay Deluxe Shadow Box

Hey everyone I am trying to get in the habit of updating my spot as much as possile. Here is the fotd that I did. I was in a hurry, and couldn't really put in the time that I normally do but oh well...

So the highlight of my day. On my lunch break my friend and I went to a MAC counter in one of the department stores in the mall. I'm standing around looking at some of the merchandise, trying to decide if I want the new mineral foundation that I have been hearing great reviews about. Here is a little fact about me, when I go some where, and plan to spend my hard earned cash, I give the store associates about two minutes to greet me and ask if I need anything. If I get ignored,I simply walk out. Not one of those hussies acknowledged us. So my friend and I were like wow, especially when someone else came after us and they were greeted immediately. So I tell my friend we are out this piece. I guess they didn't want my purchase. My friend was like you should have done like Julia Roberts did in "Pretty Woman" when the woman wouldn't help her and go up to the associate and say BIG MISTAKE. Anywhoo I took my hard earned cash to Sephora, and I was greeted and asked if I needed help which I know they always do. I purchased the Urban Decay Deluxe Shadow Box. It is so pretty. I have seen others on youtube with it, but it is even better in person. The colors are very bright and the payoff is G-O-R-G-E-O-U-S. It even came with a mini UDPP. I love it. Well I digress. Right now I am seriously digging Pleasure P. Being a Florida girl of course I lubbed me some Pretty Ricky. I see Pleasure is doing his thing. I listen to this song everyday, and thought I would share it. Lil Wayne does his thing even though he rapped the first verse of I Don't Wanna Be by Aaliyah (R.I.P.) I'm not hating though.

Here is the look I wore today. Last night I came across MACFETISH's blog (see my everyday sites) and she had a tutorial on blending. I found it very helpful and was eager to try it out. Instead of a highlight color with eyeshadow I used concealer,and it worked just fine. I found using the technique she illustrated to be very helpful, and super easy.

My Bright Idea

Hey all. I am back for another posting. I went to walmart a couple of Sunday's ago, and I was in the craft section and I came across one of the paint palattes. Suddenly I had this brillant idea. Why not get one of these for my makeup. I know it sounds a little whacked out, but I am going to use it to mix my pigments with mixing medium for wet looks. After all it only cost 78 cents. I figured it would make a great makeup tool. I know I am not the first person to think of this, but I just wanted to share with all of you.
